I already know that Serato releases updates when they are good & ready. Yes Yes. I know I know. But I'm excited.
When I was beta testing earlier versions of 1.9 we also started beta testing VSL 1.1. I was just wondering if anybody here has overheard (easedropped) some talk or discussion about VSL 1.2. Considering the latest release SSL 1.9.2
Don't dawg me guys. Just excited to see the new implements in the plug-in.
Nathan, don't shoot me brother for asking publically. Lol! ;-P

LMFAO! Some hate just because they don't have. No reason to hate. I have some DJ's around here that hate for no reason. Only because they're still on CD's only (no Serato) on old Denon players.

I'm really hoping that the new Video-SL will say something like:
PC users
- Video optimization has been improved to utilize hardware H.264 decompression for greatly improved video frame rates on PCs with supported video cards.
It makes no sense why I get bad frame rates when my current PC has a faster CPU & video card than a white Macbook w/ GMA950 yet can't do anything even close to those framerates... I mean I get like 4.5 fps with 2 videos running & no effects at all. Crazy... And my laptop's integrated Intel X4500HD includes hardware H.264 decompression... But VSL can't use it...

MacBooks can barely run VSL optimally. MacBook Pro's are the way. They have two video cards. One running 256MB (NVidia GeForce 9400M) & one running 512MB (NVidia GeForce 9600GT). But also, it's something about the OS too. I've tried a good amount of PC's to run VSL (really expensive ones too). Awesome vid cards, awesome cpu's, etc. Nothing ran better then the MBP. I was PC all the way till earlier this year, now I'm pro Mac Fan Boy now. Lol

DJ PopRoXXX ,
Ive been having trouble with my VSL. I am using a MackBook, I have a Pro on the way, and I have been linking my DJM 800 through an M-Audio aniversarry Edition 4x4. My onscreen controlls respond very, very slowly.... Do you think that could be caused becuase Im not runnig a MB PRO?

what does it say in your VSL setup under the "performance" tab. does it say either "graphics limited" or "faders limited" or both?
