sorry i can't answer your post since i don't use that software. but if i can make a suggestion, i recommend you do a little research and find out what the features of the H.264 codec and mp4 container can offer. understand what all the options do and what options work with VSL.
if someone sends you a preset, how do you know if it's really the best for YOUR needs? you won't, unless you understand what all the options are.
Do you know 4x4 macro blocks, GOP, pixel aspect ratio, I frames, and all the rest of the options? You should, otherwise you could end up encoding your videos with options that you find out later are not good.
