I want to make a slide show of events using club flyers and other graphics that are happening at a venue
Does anyone know of a good screen resolution to use and a program I could use to make this happen?

Are you scanning them or using the digital files? You can use iMovie to make the slide show.

Im using all digital files. Also i won't be using it for SSL, it will be for another computer, or considering burning to dvd. I'm thinking about playing it on one of the plasma's or projector at a club I work at. I also am only use mac, so pc programs will be out.
Thanks for your help!

so just import the images into imovie. add transitions if you want. export using whatever settings you want. 640x480 is fine.

shouldn't 800x600 be used if you have control over the files why not render them in the best resolution u can carry.... and if you're running a composite video signal, 800x600 is the best it can look right? (assuming you're telling VSL to output high quality) and your secondary output is at least 800x600

Hey man if you are in Photoshop you need your files to be @72dpi. all video is at 72dpi. No matter is you are going 480p/i, 720p/i or even 1080p/i it all needs to be @72dpi.
