I have piles and piles of black friends. They come to my home, I marry them, they use my bathroom. I treat them just like everyone else.Interesting choice of words... he measures his black friends in "piles." I have piles of dirty clothes... never had a pile of friends.

He came to the conclusion that most of black society does not readily accept offspring of such relationships, and neither does white society, he said.I am half black half white... most people think I am PR...

Reminds me of this 1984 news report from KGO 7 San Francisco.
www.youtube.com view
Read the comments of the video poster:
3. Louis Farrakhan says controversial stuff (What a surprise!)
4. Geraldine Ferraro names a black man to her staff (It's hard to believe this was such a big deal in the 80's)
LOL

I didn't know Pete Wilson used to be on Channel 7, I remember him more on Channel 4 when they were the NBC station.

Not to diss the job of Djing... but he is a Justice of Peace not a club Disc Jockey... there is a slight difference between a random job at a night club and a state employee.
Next time your Governor states that they only want to hire Mexicans for outdoors work because they "work" better, think about your Dj analogy and try to make it make sense.
I think you shouldn't marry some people that shouldn't be married... but race should not be a factor on whether you are capable of marriage, shits got nothing to do with race.

Im not talking about a random dj gig im talking about a residency lol
Im not saying its right but if i own a company and im doing the hiring and i feel mexicans work the hardest im going to hire mexicans, its a personal choice that comes as a privledge of my position, where the crime starts happening is if a law or standard is set to take out the will to not do so....and if my govener wants to hire all mexicans to work outside more power to him cause i sure as hell aint doin that shit

As a judge hes elected to make decessions...making decessions is his job and he made a decession this is something he dosent want to do personally. His job isnt to gaurentee that anyone who comes to him can get married

lol what lawn busniess that was someone elses comparison lol, all i know is i have 2 friends who are young who went to go get married and the 1st justice of the Peace they went to said no because they were to young and the marriage wouldnt work, im assuming he made that decession based on some kind of personal knowledge from marrying people that age and said no i dont want to be involved in this....i see this the same way, mabye this guy does have a "pile" (awful word) of black friends and half his black friends married interracially and every one of those failed, he would then use that to make an educated judicial decession based on personal experience that makes him think it wont work so he dosent personally want to do it. Hes not pushing for a national reform against it and he didnt even say it was wrong (i dont think) what he said was from what hes seen he didnt want to be involved because from what hes seen it would be a bad idea.

I grew up fine biracial (no misqoute)
If there was a justice of peace that wouldn't marry African Americans it would be a HUGE deal.... This is the same...
Race is NEVER a reason to deny any RIGHT... period... that's as simple as it gets

but thats my point hes not denying any rights of theirs their still allowed to get married, hes not preventing them from going elsewhere nor is he sayin its wrong or immoral, its his right as a justice to not do the service, as i belive its their right to not do the service for anyone. As a justice hes allowed to say i dont want to be involved in this, race is not a reason to deny a right but its no reason to take away that mans choice either. If 2 men walked in there asking to be married and he denied would there be a big deal? gender shouldnt be a reason to deny a RIGHT...my young friends who were denyed because of age, age shouldnt be a reason to deny a RIGHT (they were both of legal consenting age).

So basically sine you want to be a bigot, I have to go to the next city over to get married?
Would this be ok if a guy said 2 Cauasian Americans couldn't get married in his court cause thats how he felt? Of course not, so why is this ok?

That is INCORRECT. He is adding an INCONVIENCE to their plans. Now on top of some of REGULAR people who may not like it, they have to live with the fact that someone who is supposed to be TRANSPARENT with those issues, denied them that right initially.
That's like a COP that's supposed to come to your aid when you're being attacked, and sees that it's someone who he would normally despise for whatever reason, (color, creed, wealth or lack thereof, etc), and he decides to not do his job, and let's the attacker attack you.
Can't do it son, you signed on to protect EVERYBODY.

And now they have to go somewhere else to complete that circle...
