Newbie Question - whitelabel.net genres

seanathan 7:26 PM - 14 October, 2009
Hello,

Please pardon if this is a dumb question, but I am new to the site and serato. I've spent some time browsing the music on this site but can't seem to find much besides hip-hop, urban and reggae. I spin a fair amount of hip-hop at the club, but I am primarily interested in electro, house, trance. Is whitelabel.net exclusively an urban/hip-hop service?

I saw a Paul Van Dyk record on here but no luck so far other than that.

Hey seanathan,
Nope, this site is not strictly hip hop at all. We definitely have a LOT of urban content, and are constantly working on getting more labels with different genres. We do, however, have a lot of other content, including electronic music.

That Paul Van Dyk record was put up by Ultra, who deliver to our US DJs, so you might be interested in the rest of their releases: whitelabel.net

We have releases from people like MSTRKRFT and Justice from Downtown records if you thumb through their releases here: whitelabel.net

Swedish Columbia have put out some great electronic releases too: whitelabel.net

Plant Music are always solid with their electronic releases as well: whitelabel.net

Most of our electronica releases can be found by searching electronica on the downloads page, like so: whitelabel.net

I hope this helps you with your search for music. Let me know if you have any more questions and happy hunting! :)

Thanks Brigid. I've been happily hunting for a few days now and found some great tracks. Just having issues with the downloader crashing in Safari. Will hunt for solutions.... thanks!
