I have just switched to the latest version of SL and bought new version 2 vinyls. I still have a high pitch noise that emits from the turntable's interior speaker. Very annoying. I have always had it. I am running two tech 1200's, a pioneer djm600, a dell 5150 p4 3.2 w/ ht and 1gb ram. I power the sl unit via the usb on my laptop. Anyone else get this annoying hihg pitch sound? I tried to make a mix tape last night and I could hear this sound in the background of a few songs. The plaayback quality of my songs doesn't sound as good either. And yes, I have checked all of my mp3's and my setup green circles are very round. Not perfectly round, but as round as I could get them.

Do you get the same high pitch sound when your turntables are stopped/off and while playing songs using the "int" mode in Scratch LIVE?

aomiles, is that high pitch noise similar to the "noise" which comes from the control records?

Interior speaker? You mean the stylus? If it's audible in the recordings I would guess maybe there's some leakage between the channels in your mixer?
