Hi, I just started using this feature but I saw a popup window that initially says something like:
"other mp3s will be at 32 kbps and serato software users will be at 320 kbps. Downloading the mp3s by saving it on my drive and then transferring to itunes and shows at 32kbps. When I then transfer it to SSL3, will it be recognized at 320 kpbs? Or is it better for me to save/transfer directly to itunes?
Confused!

Whitelabel MP3's can be played in any media player software (iTunes, Windows Media Player etc) or any type of portable MP3 device (iPod etc). But in this case you will only hear the 32kbps audio.
But if you play a Whitelabel MP3 files in Serato DJ software (ie. Scratch Live or ITCH) AND you have the appropriate hardware device attached the file will automatically play at the high quality 320kbps bit rate.
No conversion or transfer is required.

To play Whitelabel files in ITCH you need version 1.1 or greater.
You can download the latest version of ITCH here: serato.com

I cannot figure out how to download a good quality song from this site. Every song I download a song it sounds like ass no matter what program I use to play it in. Whether it be serato or itunes. Please let me know how to correctly download music from this site.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Thank you.
You MUST have your SSL box or TTM-57 hooked up to your laptop for the files to play at 320 kbps

I did do that. I dj'ed live one night with the serato mixer. Recorded my mix and when I heard the mix only the tracks from whitelabel sounded like a really bad download.

R.P.S., if you use the record facilities of the Rane TTM 57SL mixer Whitelabel files should be recorded in high quality.
If that's not working correctly then I suggest you create a Help Request so that the Rane and Serato support teams can help you with your issue.
You can create a Help Request here scratchlive.net or here serato.com.
