Flash Drive Crate

I was wondering if there is any way that the SERATO program will recognize a flash drive or mp3 CD, and pull it up in the crate area. I use my friends computer which has the SERATO program installed and we have to go to the desktop and copy the songs to my existing crate when I bring some new songs. It seems to me like I can just plug in my flash drive while SERATO is running and it would automatically pull up the music on the flash drive.

The only thing I can think of is that my computer is a mac and my friend has a PC, so somehow its not working out.

Any help is appreciated,

Hi spyhop,

Yes you can do this. Any crates you make using the files on the flash drive are saved to it and will be loaded when connected to any computer. If you are using both PC and Mac make sure the flash drive is formatted to FAT 32 as this is the only format that both systems can read and write to.
