The first problem is not really a problem but... when you go to the question mark (?) for help in the preview player and roll you mouse over your Main Library Track List some of the text is unreadable (See the shift + left and shift + right guidance).
Another question I have is, like to use the iTunes Library to organize my music but is there anyway to keep the iTunes Library Folder from expanding when I first open Scratch Live? I find that a little bit annoying because it pushes all my crates down and I have to scroll down to see them. How do you keep this from happening?
Thanks...

Yes that's a little cosmetic bug in 1.9.1 (top ? info cut off)
You can collapse the iTunes library by clicking on the main iTunes blue folder, there's a little triangle, click it to collapse/expand the iTunes library.

For your second question, did you recently up date your itunes to itunes 9? That might be the problem now when you first open up scratch live and the itunes folder is expanded

Hi Konix,
Yeah, I guess I have been forgetting to close the iTunes folder before I quit Scratch Live. It's working now.
As for the cosmetic bug... they should still fix it just because...

Raymix,
I just went to iTunes and it is asking me to update to 9.0. Should I update or no? Either way, I would prefer that all the crates and folders be closed even if I did leave them open last time I used Scratch Live. That should be a preference. I will suggest this.

NO!! I would wait because I think people are having problems with itunes 9...I haven't updated yet either but I think there saying after you update itunes the blue itunes folder in scratch live wont collapse at all even if you click on it, thats what I've been hearing. So I would just wait if I where you!!

Raymix,
Thanks for the info! My question was regarding the current Scratch Live way of opening iTunes folders but if i downloaded iTunes 9.0 and the iTunes folders wouldn't close in Scratch Live...I would pull my hair out. I hate when it does that. On the bright side it looks like in 1.9.1 they changed the iTunes folders to a nicer shade of blue. It looks a lot nice that the last color.

Hi DJ Wizdown, yes RAYMIX is right, we have discovered users have lost the collapsible iTunes functionality since upgrading to iTunes 9. There is a fix on the way for this, but until then I wouldn't recommend upgrading to iTunes 9 if you rely on this feature.

Aroha,
Thanks for the confirmation. The funny thing was my question was initially about the iTunes folder with my current version of Scratch Live 1.9.1 and iTunes 8.0. I have noticed if you leave the iTunes folder expanded (in Scratch Live) and then close the Scratch Live Application the iTunes folder will still be expanded when you open Scratch Live again. Is there anyway to keep Scratch Live from doing this? If not I have suggested in the Recommendations Section for Scratch Live to make this an option. See the QUOTE that I sent in the Recommendation Section below:
Could you add an option in the setup menu that allows all crates and folders be closed the next time you open Scratch Live, even if you do happen to leave a crate open or the iTunes library open from the last session?
I'll attach a picture of what I am talking about when I get the chance.

When I finish a set I tend to leave my iTunes playlist open. Since I have quite a few playlists it can be annoying to close all the sub folders in my playlists just so I can reach my crates the next time I have a gig. Of course I can scroll down to my crates but since I don't have a mouse this is just annoying.Could you add an option in the setup menu that allows all crates and folders be closed the next time you open Scratch Live, even if you do happen to leave a crate open or the iTunes library open from the last session?

Aroha,
I attached a video of what I was talking about. My original question had nothing to do with the iTunes 9.0 upgrade. I have posted this thread in the suggestions folder but I wanted you guys to see what I was talking about. Plus I made a video so all of you can see exactly what I was talking about in my earlier post on September 13th.

Here is a quick video describing the problem at hand. Notice how the folders don't stay closed making a huge mess of my crates and iTunes Playlist folders.Watchwww.youtube.com

Hey again DJ Wizdom, thanks for the video, I understand more clearly what you mean now. I've passed on your suggestion to our development team. Cheers
