waddup all my ssl peeps.

well currently i have a residency dj job in Hong Kong, but im moving back to Los Angeles pretty soon. So my question is..how should i proceed to spin in a new country? i mean i heard stuff like i have to join party crews and shit like that? anybody got some advice?

I'd say just talk to and get to know other djs, club owners, promoters and people in the business. Remember, it's not what you know, it's who you know.

you should get in this years DMC's to at least be in the battle scene. Battle anyone u see on the street, even bums.

yeah he is in LA now, he was telling me he was applying for a job at the DJ store. lets hope he gets it so we can get a discount!

lol that line "remember, it's not what you know, it's who you know" is from ATL...that was a weak movie!!!!!!! but yeah im down here in LA...i been bumping my mixtapes at parties and what not; been passing that shit out. but iono imma connect with promoters n shit like that. anybody wanna hear me out?
