Serato Software Feature Suggestions

What features would you like to see in Serato software?

Dont turn it into a FINAL SCRATCH

I would like it to stay exactly like it izz..
Beeing a programmer myself i know exactly what happens when companies implement more features to software wich makes it
a bit more complexer that it already is.

Complex software like FS has many problems.. thats why i like SSL.. its simple and clear and no Bull*&%^$ so why put in extras and make it complexer and more risky?

I'm all for having a piece of software that you can enable/disable features to fine tune it to your individual preferences. When the PnT addition comes and a slew of folks get possibly driven to bigger/faster machines to run it without issue, I can have it disabled and keep rockin with little to no extra overhead.

Thats why the plugin model works nicely. Those who want a feature like PnT can have it, and those who don't can keep their install plain vanilla.

Yes, and it would be good if when you implement the p'n't, there is no click or audio gap, so it can switched on mid set just when you need it!!

The ironic thing about this thread is that SSL in its present form has considerably *more* features than the latest version of the Final Scratch software (last updated about 18 months ago). Key-lock is the only thing in FS missing from SSL.

"No need" to post random drive-by rudeness either. What *was* the point of posting that remark over two weeks later anyway?

By the way, the contraction "didn't" contains an apostrophe, and the first letter of sentences and proper names is supposed to be capitalized. If you're going to call people on their writing mistakes, better be sure yours is letter-perfect.

spin me, Mark! keep your red pen holstered, cowboy...people point out far lesser crimes of language on these boards, so i didnt see it as any big deal, especially since i didnt address him directly or try to belittle him...caps use, minor spelling errors, and punctuation are generally overlooked in these forums, but making up a word caught my attention..once someone told me he wasnt a native speaker, i understood and left it alone.
