Hello zcu,

Try this:

1. Without SSL running open up your Scratch live folder in your music folder.

2. Re-name the crate folder (example: .crates re-name to .crates1)

3. Open up SSL.

4. Close SSL.

5. Open up your Scratch Live folder again. You should see a new .crate folder along with the newly named crate folder. Open the old .crate1 folder and cut all your crates in that folder and paste them into the newly created .crates folder.

6. Re-open SSL.

If your using an external hard drive you will find the crate folder in the hidden folder (greyed out folder) in that drive.
Follow the same directions as above.

Let us know if that works for you:)

Are you using an external drive?
If so what is it formatted to?

The drive will be 'read only' if its formatted NTFS on your Mac.
If its 'read only' you won't be able to 'write' information to it. This includes remembering loops.

If your not using a NTFS external than the tracks themselves might be 'read only'.
To see follow these directions:

1. Open up SSL

2. Find a problem file and hightlight it.

3. Hold down ctrl + R to bring up that track in the location window.

4. Hit ctrl + mouse click.

5. Click 'get info'.

6. Look under 'owndership and permissions' to see if the track is 'read and write'.
If its read only than you will need to change it to 'read and write' in order for you to make any changes to the track information or save the loops.

I'm not using an external drive,i have a 12"powerbook with 80 gb.
I found several problem files and they all were "read and write".My cue points remain saved so i don't think that it has anything to do with ownership and permissions.Anyway thanks for the promt answers:)
