What's up! I don't understand how to rename the file. I'm not computer illiterate ya know. In lame man terms. Do you and a diagram?
PC Users - before installing, find the ScratchLIVE executable (by default it is in C:\Program files\Serato\ScratchLIVE, and rename it - for example call it ScratchLIVE1.5.exe. When you install the new version, the old executable will not be deleted, and you can choose which you want to run by going into that folder and double clicking on the executable. You can still do this if you have already installed 1.6.1 - rename the executable to ScratchLIVE1.6.exe, and then reinstall 1.5.

Follow these directions:
1.Start (bottom right hand corner)
2.click my computer
3.Click on the local C drive
4.Click program files
5.Click Serato folder
6.Click Scratch Live folder
7.Find the Scratchlive.exe file (the SSL icon) and right click on the name and re-name it. (example - ScratchLIVE.exe change to ScratchLIVE1.5.exe) notice I added 1.5 to the file name.
Once you've done this download the other version and you will have both on your computer.

might be a good idea! some very interesting looping functions added, and of course a lot of bugfixes since 1.3.
Or are you also still running Win98? ;)

monstashak@aol.com,
No, you don't need to update to 1.6.1 but we do recommend it. There are more functions that have been implemented.
In the future please post your issues in a seperate thread so we can keep this thread on topic. Thanks:)
