Hello everybody-
Just bought ssl yesterday. Downloaded the 1.6.1 update. Either i'm a complete idiot, or this program is not working how it is supposed to:
When I'm trying to record from vinyl, I open up ssl. I select "1 in" as the input source. The input recording level is about in the middle (but the level is appropriate; i can tell because when the record is playing, the red bars are barely lighting up, mostly green and yellow). So the record is playing; I click on the red record icon on the left, and a red border appears while the "record icon" begins blinking and the time in the middle starts running. I click on the record icon again and it stops blinking, the red border is still there and the time stops where I stopped recording. I go over to click on the save icon...
...and the only thing that happens is the red border disappears. No "Recorded" crate is created. SSL does NOT create a nameable track. I've been sifting through the discussions, but gave up on looking because it looks like no one has had this problem.
Should I try to downloading the 1.5.1 update? Any help or suggestions would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks.

p.s. I have tried recording both in phono and in line, both yielding the same result. And of course when its on "line", I can't tell what's happening with the track at all! But I thought I would give that a shot anyway...
