Convert Vinyl to MP3 using Serato

Deemon 11:49 PM - 26 July, 2009
Does Serato hav any new software or add-on to help DJ's dat hav an archieve of (hard-to-find, accapelas, instrumentals, special re-mixes & import) vinyl to MP3? It only makes sense for a software dat has been so catered to DJ's to overlook dis small detail. Many of us hav been DJing for years (pre-CDJ's era) and hav an extensive vinyl collection dat are not available on CD or MP3 formats. I know there alot of USB turntables and software available, but if you hav serato you would to hav plug and unplug equipment. It would be simpler if the software could work with (or thru)serato. Does anyone hav any suggestions?

you can record your vinyl from serato.
if your useing the sl1 or sl3 box plug in all cables both thru and line.
switch it so your not on line and see if you can hear your record through the speakers.
if you can your good all you have to do is hit record in serato either input 1 or 2 and start your record.
when its done just click rec. again and it will stop, name your track, artist and everything, add bpm if you want but the second time you click rec to stop it dont click it twice or what you just recorded will be lost and you will have to do it all over again.
