Loop Roll While Looping
Loop roll while looping is the only feature I would love to see in SSL. I was very surprised when I attempted to loop roll while looping and it jumped my track into the middle :) I hope this request is possible.
Cheers and am a total SSL junkie now :)

+1 !!!
Beat me to the punch
In the middle of a loop.
Go to roll.
at the end of roll it goes to the point where it would have been as if I rolled from the begining of loop
Throws off intended effect/mix
Gonna go to feature suggestions...copy/paste =o)

Yea, I was frustrated when I already had an active loop and decided to do a loop roll, it would jump to the end of the active loop. However, it doesn't happen anymore in 1.9.1. Try it...
However, while an active loop is on, I would like to do a temp loop roll, and when I'm done, it should jump back to the previous active loop.

I upgraded to 1.9.1 and that has not solved the problem completely. I am sure I didn't describe what I wanted well enough so I will try again :)
I want to Auto-Roll inside an active and running loop. So lets say I am looping the first 32 beats of a track, I would like to mess with it using the Auto-Roll but maintain the loop. Currently when I do this, it jumps the playhead to where it would be if the loop never happened... Meaning, if I loop the first 32 beats 4 times (the calculated play head is currently at 128 beats) then use Auto-Roll, it spits me out at 128 beats and not where it would be within the loop, which is desired as I want to continue looping.
I hope that makes sense... :)

YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I keep telling myself to come here and post this,
and like a good noodle I searched first!
maybe just a button on the screen we can map.
regular loop roll &
closed loop - loop roll
Often times Im looping beats and playing accapellas and such.
but would like to spice up those instrumental beats, but not
the acapella beats...
THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hahaha I agree... It was hard to explain what I want that is for sure... maybe I will make a video to help explain it as this is a must for future versions of SSL.

I was just about to post a request for this feature and thought...I'd better check if anyone else has. Nice to know there are a lot of us who would like to see loop rolls inside active loops.
Also, I'd like to my loop number selector to not switch to 'A' when I do a loop roll. I.E. If I'm setup to activate loop 1 (but it isn't active) and I want do a loop roll, I don't want my current loop to move to 'A', instead I want it to stay at loop 1 so I can quickly activate loop 1 just after the roll. Should I start another thread for that feature or is it close enough to the feature in this thread?
