iMac for video SL????

I was toying with the idea of uing a 24" iMac for my video set-up instead of using a laptop. Besides the obvious wiring issue and weight of the unit what other things may be an issue if I were to try this? I am looking for any pitfalls or potential issues.

There was a recent thread on this. I think the issues are the size of the screen, which has pros and cons, and where to put the keyboard and mouse among your mixer and players.

From a "can it do it" point of view the iMac's without the shared memory should work fantastic for video.

I know 20 lbs is alot, but most of what I do is mobile so the extra weight isn't too big a deal. I was looking at a carrying case from www.ilugger.com That is what started this. So would it be safe to say any of the new line Imacs would be fine? I figured a wireless mouse and keyboard. Should help with the placement.
