I was considering just hanging on to it for studio use, but if someone who's been wanting one were to make a decent offer I figured I'd let it go. Since it's essentially new (2 months old) I'd like to get a price reflective of such. I just checked on ebay and used ones are starting around $600 and going up from there. If someone gives me the new price for it and lives in California, I will drive it to you on my way down south this weekend AND throw in a pair of 1st run Numark CDX's with Road Ready cases. Seriously.

nik, I know you mean well and all, but lighten up. Not everybody reads every single post in every single thread like you do.

Also, this thread is completely about selling a 909 to buy a 57. Seems a logical place to note that I am doing the same thing. I could have just started another thread about some dude selling a mixer to buy this new super-mixer. Which would you have preferred?

The other thread was comparing a 909 to a 57, thus also a pertinent time to point out my opinion of that matter (obviously if I am selling one to buy the other, that would totally substantiate posting in a thread comparing the two; and if my opinion is such that I would gladly replace one with the other, then my experience of the one versus the promise of the other must show the intrinsic value of the mixer I have not tested).

The third one was a funny, which is why there was one of these " :-) " at the end.

So ease up there, hoss. This and one of the other threads are the exact place where such information would make sense and be totally relavant to the discussion.

Well, besides my feelings for your posting, you know you are violating the rules of this board. People who posted about their gear to be sold have been warned not to post about their stuff. This is not a threat or something, just letting you know. People quickly get annoyed reading the same "advertisement" in various threads.

And, you are right, if there was no forum rule forbidding posting about services etc. these threads would have been the right places to post about as they seem to be about the same topic.
