Does anyone in the UK have the DJM S9 yet? Or know when it's coming out? I have placed my order but they have no idea if when its coming out

Well as it needs SDJ 1.8.0 to work i guess it will be released the day serato releases 1.8.0 or just after.

And all we know on 1.8.0 being released is end of this month.

I heard from djkit that the units are in Berlin and are being shipped to the UK next week

does anyone that has this mixer yet tried recording mixes with it yet? just wondering if there are any glitches with that part of the hardware/software. how is the sound quality from the outputs when hooked up to mobile or club sound system? how does the mic sound? these are all previous issues from past pioneer initial controller/mixer releases.

I have one on order and have just been told pioneer have said they will be shipping at the end of November. I wonder why we are having to wait so long in the uk, maybe they are doing a hardware revision due to the paint issues others are having

Got mine from Juno last week, Dj-Kit were sold out. Moved from the DJM-909 and Scratch-Live 2.5. The S9 is superb. Sound quality is crystal clear. Cross-fader and up-faders are amazing. The whole FX section is flawless, easily navigated. There are loads of feature i haven't used and have no use for them either though. Used it now 4 club gigs, no problems at all. Only issues are with the buggy Serato Dj 1.8. This is the only software use-able just now so i guess i'll have to wait until bugs are taken care of.

Are you able to record mixes in serato including using real vinyl and the beat fx? I like to use a mixture of real vinyl tracks and serato time codes so I'm hoping it can all be recorded internally in serato dj

Yes you can use the effects and serato effects with real vinyl. You can also record real vinyl and s9 effects & serato effects.
