Hey guys quick question so lately my rane 62 crossfader's been feeling stiff so i want to get in there and clean it ASAP. Now i know were supposed to use the dupont lubricant but i have a gig in a couple of days and they dont sell it anywhere near me. I went to the hardware store and they gave me a multi purpose oil that they claim is the best they carry (out of a variety) that lubricates, cleans and penetrates rust , my question is can we use any lubricant for the sliders or is it really that encouraged to use the dupont?
