I just bought a Rane Ttm57 Mk2 which arrives tuesday (Sept 1st). I have a late 2007 macbook that i have used with my Rane Ttm 57sl. The macbook is running Lion Os x 10.7.5. Do i need to buy a new laptop? i read that the Mk2 only runs on Os x 10.8 or higher. Is that true? did i just waste $1800

Hey PuertaRoc,

You will need to upgrade your OS but its a free update.
10.10.5 is the most current operating system version for Mac.
Check System Updates via the Apple in the upper left corner.

You'll be good once that is installed:)

What are the specs of your computer?
You might have to update to 10.8 or 10.9. Both should be able to be purchased off of Apple's website for $20.

It's all good for now.. I just got my mixer and it's running fine.. But I have a 2007 white MacBook dual core 2 (2.16) 2gb ram
