Hi I'm new to Serato, I've been dJing for years with Old school decks.

Few questions -

Will Serato play wma or wav files or just MP3 as I have tracks in my library (PC) that don't show in Serato?

Secondly , is anyone familiar with Virtual DJ? I have tracks in VDJ that are at 157-168bpm, once I analysed my tracks in Serato they show at 77bpm , but all the other tracks that are less BPM or 127-140, seem to be roughly the same as VDJ BPM is there any reason why these would show less Bpm in Serato ?

Serato software doesn't currently handle WMAs
This list is the supported formats for SDJ:
support.serato.com

The half/double of bps is relatively normal across different software platforms as they use their own analysis engine.
To correct manually in the case of half/double:
serato.com

Otherwise. You'll find a 'cogwheel, next to the analyse button in the offline mode of SDJ. This allows you to set an expected bpm range for tracks that may not analyse correctly.
