Why is Serato DJ software sounding so dull and muddy compared to the other main DJ software.

Does serato use an inferior audio engine ??? to decode music files? I use mainly flacs (lossless)

I worked with another DJ this weekend using the same music files and same audio system as me, he was using the other main DJ software and it sounded so much better!!

Bass thumping and the top was much sweeter, crisp and clean, people were commenting on how good his sound was, yet I thought I had just purchased the better system !!! i.e. serato and pioneer.

not one person commented on the sound of serato, and I know why, I did not compare, it was lacking so much detail, dynamics, it sounded dull.

I can't work out why serato is not the best sounding DJ software,
