CPU Problems

I read multiple threads involving the same matter but I can seem to resolve my problem

I use Serato DJ Intro with a DDJ-SB and been using it about 5 months now. Everything was going fine up until about a month ago now now after about 15 minutes of use my CPU spikes and everything glitches up. I have nothing running in the background everything is turned of including wifi. I have delete over half of my music library and cleared a following 4GBs in temporary files & hidden downloads ect, The problem doesnt seem to be getting any better and a matter of fact it gets worse.

Any suggestions?

Hi there,

It sounds like your problem could be thermal throttling. When a CPU gets too hot it intentionally dials back the processing capabilities in order to bring the temps back down. The CPU usually takes a while to get this hot but 15 minutes might be enough. What laptop are you using and what temperature does your CPU get up to when the glitches occur?
