Serato Software Feature Suggestions

What features would you like to see in Serato software?

Smart Crates Rework

I know that there are multiple posts regarding Smart Crates with individual features being requested, but what I'm looking for (and I suspect everyone else is, too) is that Smart Crates should bear at the very least 1:1 functionality with iTunes Smart Playlists. These features should include but are by no means limited to the following:

Rules based on Crates (including referring to other Smart Crates)
Multiple and nested ANY/ALL statements
Nested Smart Crates in regular crates
STARTS WITH and ENDS WITH criteria
etc.

I would love to get iTunes out of my workflow to streamline my preparation and to recoup RAM in a running Serato instance, but it's simply not possible with the current implementation of Smart Crates.

Now with the latest version of iTunes causing all sorts of issues (and not just in Serato), it's even more important that Smart Crates get comparable functionality.

They're already working on some of the stuff.
Even longer than they have expected themselves :)
See here Watchvimeo.com at 17:35.

Totally agree!

I would love a couple of serato specific 'rules' as well, like:
- Not analysed
- No beatgrid set
- Beatgrid not locked
- 'file not found' / 'file corrupted' etc

And rules like
- added in the last '2 weeks' ect

Really needing smart crate limiting rules.

eg:

Limit smart crate to 500 songs, by date added.
Limit smart crates to 500 songs, minutes, hours, years or whatever.

At this point I cannot mimic my iTunes smart playlists, so still need to use iTunes as part of my playlist organisation.
