Serato DJ not displaying songs

djimpactny87 3:58 AM - 27 March, 2015
So I had to wipe my Macbook Pro and re-install all software. Serato Live works fine but when I load Serato DJ it opens, displays all my crates but none of the songs show. The Screen is empty. Any suggestions?

Using Serato DJ 1.7.3
Mac OS 10.8.5

Update: If I do a music search all the tracks pop back up. Weird.

djimpactny87,

I am also having this issue. I had to wipe out my Macbook Pro and re-install Yosemite. Serato Scratch Live works good, but Serato DJ does not. I've tried your method by typing in a track in the search bar and got back all the files. I DO NOT want to keep doing this though. Is there a way that this could be fixed?

Does no one have a solution for this? I tried customer service and received no reply.

Another Update: Can't change the order of anything. BPM, Name, Date Added, nothing works. Serato Support is not getting back to me.

It's a bug guys which is really old news. Try the 1.7.4 betaπŸ‘

So it's a 1.7.3 bug?

For some yes cause it happened on my computer. Others didn't seem to have the issue. I think it's mostly older computers where the problem arised. They are almost ready to release 1.7.4 they are on beta version #4 nowπŸ‘

that would be your best bet cause the only fix is to use the search field or restarting the system then it should go away. Not sure what's causing it put quite a few users experienced the same thing so I'd definitely say it's a bug. Cheers

Yeah it's total mess. Thanks again.

I have the same issue so i reinstalled 1.7.2 and the problem is still there. I never had it when 1.7.2 was the newest release.
Its so annoying, scratch live loads fine every time with the same library.
The library eventually shows up properly after a couple of attempts though, that's my work around.
djimpactny87 4:15 PM - 28 March, 2015
Same here. Switching back to 1.7.2 did nothing and it's really started to irritate me that after 4 days I still get no response from Serato Tech Support.

It's fixed in 1.7.4 beta so go try that seems solid been using it for gigs 3nights a week. This is your best chance if also checking that this bug is indeed fixed in 1.7.4 try it and if it's still not fixed open a bug report so they can fix it up before final release.

1.7.4BETA ---> serato.com

Yup. Installed 1.7.4 and problem solved. Now I have to worry is it stable enough to use on a gig?

It shows your music so it is already more stable than what you had before πŸ˜‰

If you got time tho test at home first just to make sure.

I suggest staying on beta version #4 which is currently the latest. The earlier versions had bugs that were fixed so the serato team wanted users to discontinue use of those.πŸ‘

I wasnt just too sure about this Beta release, the first two Betas crashed on me when exiting.
