Reloop neon - turn sample sync off from controller?

Should the sync button on the Neon be able to turn Sync off for the sample players?

The Mode button correctly cycles through the three play modes when you hold it and tap the relevant pad, the Loop button turnsloop on and off but when you hold sync then press a pad sync turns on, but repeatedly pressing the pad has no effect - the sync stays on.

Pressing sync+pad when the sample is playing has no effect. Pressing Shift+sync while playing stops the playing and turns the pad gold.

There seems to be no way from the controller of turning the sync off. Is this how it currently works or do I have a bug somewhere ?

To quote Edwin Starr (or possibly Jackie Chan) - Absolutely Nothing !!

Have to say I like this controller, just seems there are bits that logically should be there that are missing.
