Serato Dj Distorts then music cuts out. I'm using Pioneer DDJ SR

My last couple of gigs i have had the same issue and it is causing me major embarrassment.

Mid-set the track i was playing began to distort and then just cut out completely.

I swithed off the controller and switched it back on and managed (after about 30 seconds) to get up and running again but i cannot keep having this issue ruin the sets.

Can anyone plese advise.

I am using serato dj with a pioneer ddj sr.

I am using serato dj with a pioneer ddj sr.
have you updated the firmware for the controller? Might want to do that first. Updating firmware will make the performance better. The old firmware that comes stock is buggy. Good luck👍
