any problems using SDJ with windows 8.1

my HP is dying and i need to buy a new laptop. I've been on windows 7 forever now without any problems (at least not problems due to windows 7) and am wondering if there are any known issues with SDJ (or even SSL) being used with 8.1. Are any of you guys running 8.1 and if so how is your experience so far? thanks for any feedback. And PLEASE no "buy a mac" comments :)

HP Envy 17" here running 8.1 and seems pretty good. I've left it soak testing for a long time running 4 decks with key lock, effects, tempo change etc and not had a problem with it. This is using Serato 1.7.2

I am running SDJ 1.7.2. on WIN 8 iCore7 2.2GHZ 16RAM.. no issues so far. I am using 2 decks and Denon MC6000MK2 controller.

Hi Amer. Is the artwork showing up for you? The album art doesnt show up in SDJ 1.7.2 (nor in SSL 2.5) now that I'm using 8.1
