ok so i'm still confused here. how did this guy get a 57. i thought there was only like 3 in existence. is this one of them or is this a production run?

i think i'm pretty close in my hypothesis, so here it goes...
solomon was sent the unit to review for remix magazine, and he took it to his gig.
and i think there are a few more than 3 units around, but i cannot vouch for that.

the block of wood is for throwing at morons on the dancefloor...or maybe just for throwing out on the dancefloor...like how some clubs throw out glow items, that club throws out blocks of wood.

pretty tight man... odd spot for a scratch set but i spose this just shows the ever growing love for turntablism.
does the 'licky finga' thing help with traction or is it OCD?

Dope article Solomon.........you're a good spokesman/reporter, but at least now it's for the right product (remember from the other thread, you convinced me to buy FS2 with your video?).

actually.. 6 total channels..
2 phono
2 line
2 digital (laptop mp3)
still battle mixer form factor.. so you can have two regular turntables, two cd players and your serato all at once.. still can only mix with two at the same time

Well,... as this is a digital mixer, I dont see any reason why they couldnt add a AUX/FlexLoop/MicIn monitor (all those three are analog mixed before they pass the A/D converter, reading from the preliminary hardware manual). So.. you all gotta cry loud enough so that the Rane+Serato peeps hear you! :)

It's internal, you assign the efx to the aux, then monitor the effect or simillar. . .
This is what one of the mods said in another thread. It was a few weeks ago, and I am not directly quoting him, but you get the idea. . .
Maybe steve can shed some lite once he stops barfing. . . ;)

I use germ-x it's liquid hand sanitizer, you rub it in and your hands are nice and grippy long enough to do most sets, and it keeps your gear clean.

Ya, I think it is nasty as cn be.... Germ-z or any liquid hand sanitizer can be bought at any grocery store, most gas stations, etc...
