Pioneer would never allow this. With Serato's recent relationship with Pioneer they would never step on Pio's toes like that either. Especially with the expansion of the XDJ series (with the XDJ-1000) they are now trying to push Rekordbox even further so not a chance............. sorry.

The XDJ-1000 pioneer has stated will be Serato HID possible already. So it'll be up to Serato. With that being said the rekordbox reason doesn't seem likely.

This was most likely an agreement made prior to the release of the XDJ-1000. As in it has been made and the XDJ-1000 has yet to be released and there are talks of it. Not the case for either the XDJ-R1 OR the XDJ-Aero. I could be wrong........................ but I doubt it. Also the XDJ-1000 is HID the XDJ-Aero and R1 are BOTH Midi.
