Hello, is there a way to control what effect the FlexFX button is giving you through the Scratch Live software ?

Thanks ahead

The software effects can be changed within Group 5 on the mixer.

Thank you Zach. When I posted this topic the Flex FX button would trigger an Echo Effect, now it doesn't make any Effect at all. Can you tell me make it work again?

First, open the TTM57 Hardware section of the Scratch Live software by clicking on the 'Hardware' tab on the left side of the screen.

Your now going to want to get the the FX group by pressing the Group button and then pressing the B6 button.
Once in group 6 you'll see a red border around one of the two effects.
The red border lets you know what effect is controlled by the knobs/buttons/joysticks on the TTM57.
You can change the focus of the red border by pressing the Deck button on the mixer.

Although you can route any effects to the Aux, most people choose to route the echo in this manor.

Choose whatever effect your wanting to route to the Aux, making sure the red border is around the effect you choose.
From there, press the B3 button to route that effect to the Aux and then press the B6 button to turn the effect ON.

Now you can turn the effect on/off using the Flex FX buttons on either channel strip:)

Oh! thank you. I'm a little stuck now because once I've done this the B3 and B6 lights stay on so those buttons are not controlling que points anymore. So how do I get out of this mode and be able to use B1 through B6 for Que points again while still using the FlexFx button separate from those?

Press the Group button again and then press the B1 button to get back to Group 1 (which is the group that triggers cues).

Thanks again Zach, can I ask you another question? How come now when I choose one of the Effects from the FX menu in Scratch Live I can't hear them doing anything?

The internal software effects are NOT controlled in Group 6. They are controlled in Group 5.

Also make sure the wet/dry knob of the effect you are using inside the software is turned up and that the ON/OFF button of the effect is turned ON.

Hi quick question please, if I hit the Get Help from Serato button on the Scratch Live Help page and submit a help request, does this request post to the Forum or how do I track it? I submitted one and can't see where it went.. Thanks, -Phil
