any chance Rane or Serato will ever offer a trade in program... turn in your sl1 and pickup a 57 at a discounted price

I doubt it, the abundance of SL1s will let people who are on the fence about serato try it out for less $$ and help Serato continue to take over the market. Plus, what would they do with all the SL1s anyways?

The SL 1 is worth more to you than to Rane, so it makes no sense to offer a trade-in deal. You'd get more selling it on ebay.

agreed... actually, come to think of it, *enable day dream* keeping my sl1 (incase i ever start spinning at clubs) inserting ssl into an existing booth set up (installed mixer/ttables/cdjs) would be easier rather than trying to set up a whole different 'mixer' (57) on-tha-fly *disable day dream*.
