Comments info is all messed up

I use intro to play walk-on music.

I am using a pioneer sb controller on a windows laptop.

I copy and paste info from a word doc into the comments section of a music track.

If I ever move the tracks about in a crate, or if I load the track into a player, the Info I have just inserted changes to the letters: ŷpD

This is highly annoying as I have to once again copy and paste the info back in to the comments section for every track.
How can I stop this?
