Hi all,
I use sl3 with vinyl control. I use 2 x standard sl1210 for this.
I also have a custom turntable for ripping vinyl into serato.(rega tone arm,Isonoe feet, expensive hi if cartridge etc etc.)
My sl3 box has the psu so I have auto loop thru on decks 1&2.

I want to listen to vinyl on the superior turntable through the aux.
I don't always want to plug in my computer to do this.

Why can't the aux input be auto thru as the other 2 inputs are?

Fed up of re patching and messing around with this.

FIRMWARE UPDATE REQUIRED PLEASE.

Anyone else need this?

Hi vinyl_richie

The SL3's aux channels main purpose is to record your set (input) and to playback your sampler trough an extra channel (output)

Its a design decision and safety feature so you don't get an infinite feedback loop, which could happen with thru in the use case I just described since your master out would go back into the sampler channel.

It's very unlikely to change. Sorry.

The only other option I can think of is upgrading to the Rane SL4 with two more channels.
It has four actual Channels PLUS the aux channel

(It also has the 96khz studio grade recording option)
