Is Flip CPU-heavy like P'n'T?
On that video, the orange / red dot is blinking... is that normal?

Not at all. The only processing is similar to sending MIDI notes so it's very minor in terms of the CPU usage.

About serato flip if i use decks and serato remote , will it be in a near future an upgrade of the serato remote which will allowed to control flip with the serato remote.
I am asking because i want to know if i have to invest in an hardware like Akai or pioneer sp1 ?

It's very possible that you will see FLIP controls in an updated Remote Release. I can't give you any information on when that might be though.

Hi djdomination,
Your friend can purchase Flip for you from his own computer. He can purchase directly from the Online Store: store.serato.com
During the checkout process, you have the option of specifying a separate "License Email address". If he enters your email address, the Flip license will be deposited to your account.
Cheers.

SSL is done. It's still supported for now, but there won't be any updates to it. Switching over to SDJ really hasn't been a hassle especially since they use the same database, and there are a few perks to it over SSL. Being able to record your video set is a HUGE one for me.
You should give it a try. I've been running both programs on my MacBook Pro with no problem at all.
