GM, JUST A LAPTOP QUESTION

I recently purchased Numark ns6, and i will be using a pc laptop. I am eyeing 2 so far.
A Toshiba and an HP. Both with the same specs.
Intel i7
12gb memory
1tb hd..
But HP is running windows 8.1 and the Toshiba is running windows 7 professional. Which would be the better choice. Any help would be appreciated.
