ok
i have a macbook black running VSL. i also use a denon hc4500 as a controller for VSL and SSL.
i have a TTM 57 mixer that i run VSL by. but im not happy with the sound that comes out of the mixer. so im going to sell it and wait for VSL 1.2 to come out so i can run it with my other mixer.
my problem is.mac only has 2 usb ports. 1 i will for SSL and the other i will use for my denon controller.
with the new VSL comming out i will need a midi controller to controller the video effects.how can i do this?
is there not a firewire to USB so then i can use the firewire port?
or is there any other mixer that supports serato and video serato (like the ttm57) ?
thanks.

With your controllers, you might want to try a USB hub. The only thing that you should make sure you never use a hub with is your actual SSL hardware (TTM57 in your case). Just to make sure you don't spend too much money, just keep your ear to the ground since it looks like Serato is adding more and more support for other controllers. I bought the TTM57 because I thought I needed it to have total control over ScratchLive. Here we are not even a year later, and I could have spent that $1500 on the VCI-300 with Itch because I had already purchased the SL-1 hardware. Like I said, if I were you I would just wait to see what comes out next.
