For crying out LOUD Serato, i asked for this feature for Scratch Live and you did see it important to implement it and here it comes again for Serato DJ. I said before..... SOME OF THESE FEATURES DO NOT NEED A MILLION PERSONS TO ENDORSE IT BEFORE YOU ''LOOK INTO IT'' JUST IMPLEMENT IT.

I logged this in feature suggestions a while ago and think that its a no brainer .....don't want to have to end a loop just to flip between banks its a little limiting .....would be a great touch to box this one off make the thing awesome ........ be great to split right n left deck pads to make it 12 samples on a bank a/b bank c/d format ...am sure that might be for the future though as you guys seem busy enough. .Thanks ...regards dc

while you're at it, please allow midi buttons to change from bank a, to bank b, c etc (those 2 last buttons on DDJ-SP1 are useless in Sampler mode!) :)

Yes Yes! Absolutely! This in my opinion is a big Fail!
Nobody gains nothing with samples stopping if you change bank!
You guys got to change this on the next update, I´m a Scratch Live user still because of this feature... if serato dj as this problem solved i would already been using it!
Or if not possible please change it to an SP-8 or Sp-12 that would also be better than 6 samples per bank.

Please fix this on the next update!

I've been posting since 2011. This feature is essential!! I know they're busy with the Serato DJ (Which I don't really like, I prefer Scratch Live) but pleeeeaaase make this available in the next SERATO SCRATCH LIVE UPDATE and yes on SERATO DJ, why not?

I tried this on vdj.. guess the result. It works. This overlooked feature is very useful for djs who use samplers for more than the occasional sound effect and even then u may want to overlap sounds. This is way too limiting and as a new serato user I am disappointed and miss many innovative features from other software. Another humble request.. shouldn't be too difficult.?? Thanks

I had to time things due to this problem. The sample should just continue to play in the audio buffer.

I have envisioned that serato would link SP samples to a song much like they had link videos to mp3 so that you could (if you wish) use them.. So this is for the developers:

+ On my DDJ-SZ the next updated version of Serato DJ should allow the user to have the same flexibility by allowing them to change the sample pad colours? Just like colour changing the cue points! A great feature and would make it easier to be able to set different colour`s for different samples or drops, jingles etc.

And would also be dope if we could have bank b on right and bank a on left if usong a controller or ddj sp1 that way i wont have to always use Kueit amd unplugg leads before every damn set.

I haven't tried the beta yet but am curious if with this great upgrade (6-8 samplers)came the ability requested here. Anyone tried it ? It wasn't mentioned in the log. :(

I see this has been requested before for some time now, but alas! nothing so far.

as per your suggestion (Serato) on my comment on an IG post RE version 2.0 a few days ago to come here make the same suggestion...so here goes.

I hope you guys are also looking at the sample banks where when you change banks the current sample playing continues and does not stop playing.

And also how about giving us an extra bank or 2...#abcdEF #123456

The Sampler needs some love too !!!

This is a simple, but important feature suggestion especially in the current situation with covid-19 and seeing a lot of djs doing online radio shows and podcasts.

My suggestions to upgrade the sampler feature in Serato:

1. the ability for samples to continue after switching banks (as the OP). If you're a dj like me that does various types of events you would probably have different samples for different types of events... radio, club, sports, etc.

2. double the sample count for back from 6-12

3. if #2 isn't possible then add more backs, 2-4 more

4. make shortcuts available for sampler in Serato play mode

I think this would make the sampler feature complete!
