I got a kit yesterday and ordered 25 carts....

The kit came with 4. So far, I think its a great alternative to smoking and with different nicotine levels in carts, its a better way to ween myself from nicotine like the patch, while still fulfilling the physical habit

ePuffers cartridges come with disposable atomizers so you get a fresh one with every cartridge, but they cost a lot more.

jeezus,, i've spent like 2 plus hours researching this stuff online,,, those epuffer ones sound good, because of the new atomizers etc... but who knows... check out this dude's blog,,, he's nuts,,, but he's also my hero,, he has ridiculously extensive video reviews of diff kinds, and loves to film himself, and his bird, e-smoker-forever.com

The taste doesn't really have the taste down perfect. It tastes more like unburned tobacco than smoked tobacco, but its close enough to where I havent even smoked a cigarette since I opened this thing. I'm a pack a day smoker so for me to go an entire day without an actual cigarette is unheard of. Even on the patch I'd still smoke 2 or 3 cigs. I have touched one and dont feel the need for it. The e-cig does it all for me.

i think it depends on cartridge quality and your smoking habits. If you're sitting there playing with it every 10 minutes I could see it being gone in a day but you're gonna be hopped up on nicotine. If you treat it like a cigarette it'll last you as long as a pack and a half

I have only puffed like 40 times on the 'low' cartdridge.

My smoking history:
I have been a smoker for 18-19 years, but I have not been a 'pack-a-day' smoker for at least the last 6 years. I have been slowing quitting and have been smoking those 'Marlboro Ultra lights' for like the last 1 1/2 years. I only smoke about maybe 8 cigs a day now.
(When I get urges to smoke, I dont have strong urge when I am on the 'Ultra lights', whereas when I smoke the 'lights' , my urges are much stronger to NEED a cigarette.) And as we all know, when you smoke those Ultra lights, it is like you aint even smoking ...so , my lungs get used to that type of mild draw when I take a drag off an 'ultra light' cigarette. That is the draw that I am used to.. the really mild draw on my lungs when i inhale.. This is as opposed to the dude in this video where he seems he is used to taking deep ass rips to get some smoke in his lungs.

SO I got the Mini DSE901 .

My initial impression when I began vaping on the DSE901 was that it was kinda toyish...mine has a blue light which I thought might be cool, but that blue light is toyish. If I vaped this thing in public, peeps are stare at me and think im smoking some keef or something...
So, the next model I buy will probably be one that looks more like a regular cigarette, and at the very least, have a light that is orange/red.

I am used to there being a slight resistance when I take a drag off the normal cigarette, and when I smoke this DSE901, there is very little resistance. I now see why the dude in the above vids looks like he is taking them monster rips. To get consistent vapes on this DSE901, you have to adjust your inhalation draw style slightly. When you get used to the proper inhalation draw, you will get good hits off it.

The vape that I get off this thing reminds me of a fog machine.. The taste reminds me of when you are at a party and the fog machine goes off while you are walking through the cape of fog. This DSE901 (low flavor) is like im a smoking a fog machine...it isn't the worst, but over time, i think i will get nauseous. The characteristic that I like about it is that the flavor seems slightly sweeter than a normal cigarette. The normal cigarette flavor is bitterish. I will just have to find a different flavor nictoine-juice.

Right when I took my first rip on the DSE901,I felt a scratchy, dryness in my throat. It was definitely becoming slightly irritated from this new vapor going into my body. The irritation is mild, but I know its there.. I wonder if I am going to turn into that muther-fucker from that CB4 movie with chris rock, that has that electronic throat device cuz he gots a hole in his fukin larynx... I suppose I will monitor the irritation , but it make me slightly believe that it is possible I will need that throat device If I am not careful .

The instructions that arrived with the unit state that it is not recommended to session the DSE901 any longer than you would a normal cigarette, and to wait ~30 minutes in between sessions. The book says that the liquid nicotine material may irritate if it comes in contact with 'membrane-ous' material... so i suppose they dont want me to snort it or drink it.

So after vaping that thing last night for 40 or so rips, my nose is really dry inside. Also, my throat had the slight dryness. I drank some water throughout the night, but the dryness and slight irritation is still in my throat and sinuses. I spoke with the lady from the 'smokestikusa.com' spot, and she claims that she is in the medical field. She informed me that these symptoms are temporary and your body is just getting used to the liquid-nicotine juice. I think she was just tryin to make some sales, so I am skeptical of the information, as always....

Anyways, I think ill prob be buying a couple atomizers, and some cherry and tobacco flavored juices to refill my cartridges... I prob get more cartridges as well...
I will give this DSE901 a chance.. I will probably buy parts that resemble a real cigarette though. If it takes 200$ to get me closer to not smoking at all using this substitute device, then I will be happy...(although, I still am worried what the long term affects of exposing your body to this fog machine cigarette will be in the long run.)

My lady says she clowns them kids at the mall that be vap'in by them e-cig kiosks... so , she is clownin me too... fugg it..

also , my lips are feeling slightly chappish... like it may get chappy lips If something does change soon... and I use chap stick when I go to sleep...hopefully, all this BS clears up cuz its mildly irritating.

my model has a small air hole on exterior of the atomizer piece.. when my finger slightly covers the hole properly, i can emulate the resistance of a normal cigarette closer and get a good vapor rip. I try to sort of carb it like a pipe. Im still sorta gettin used to this thing.

im out of the 'low' sampler cartridge and now im testing the next level up (11mg). I am sorta likin the 11mg one, but I am not sure if it will cause me to have more of an 'urge' to vape in the future...i dont want to feel like i 'need' to take some rips. With the 'low' sample cartdrige, I sorta keep taking multiple vapor rips in a quick repetitive fashion....the 11mg, I take like 3-4 rips and im chillin for a minute....Maybe I burned out the 'Low cartridge' too fast and too much vapor went up my nose...that seems to have fukt up my sinuses...maybe...

that's a lotta good feedback msf,, i should be receiving my ecig today or on monday,,, about how many puffs altogether did the low sample cartridge you used give off before it died?

The low started getting slightly flaky around 20 puffs...

the vapor output would lessen after about 20 puffs, then the next 3-4 puffs would be shit, then the next 5,6,7 puffs would be ok(not great but ok).

The 'low' just died on me this morning which may be been roughly 45 puffs total, but not all 45 puffs were solid puffs.. there were some sporatic blank puffs, some sporatic puffs where the light didnt light up, some puffs where i would take deep rips to try and get this thing to work again...

When this thing works, its cool for me to use, but my lungs are getting tired tryin to take them deep ass rips to try and get a good puff..

I think when I get more liquid, I will be able to get better puffs with less strain, cuz I can manually re-fill the cartridges to my desired level or put some drops on the atomizer itself...

I just finished dropping like $250 bux on liquid, 100 refillable cartridges, a bunch of aomizers and batteries.... fuuk...that amount of money is prob like 4-5 months of real cigs for me. shit... imma have to hide that stash from my lady...

You dont need to take giant rips off these things. The issue is that the atomizer needs to heat up a bit, they recommend you give it a "primer" hit.

Kind of like when the joint goes out and you gotta hit it once to light it before u smoke it. This way the when you do start to take a drag the atomizer will already be hot and produce the right amount of vape.

Says the irritation can either just be you getting used to vaping, or can be an allergy to PG (Propylene Glycol). If its an allergy you can switch to VG (Vegetable Glycol).

When I suck(no homo) and hold the hole, the atomizer turns on.
Then when I release the hole and continue to suck(no homo), the liquid vapor goes into my mouth.

I got the bloog from bloogplanet today.. Just a rebranded version of the mini-cig that e-cig sells... i guess it's a loong totem clone? it's pretty good,,, takes some getting used to,,, has the disposable atomizer in it.. i need something with more of a throat kick though,, so i am waiting on some new cartrigeds... i guess i hear dripping juice into this thing is a little bit tougher with the built-in atomizer,,, we'll see.. haha

I bought one of these from the mall kiosk for my mother. She said that the taste was dead on because the salesman let her try one out first before I bought it. After we got home and she tried it with one of the new cartridges, she complained that there was a fluid coming out of it. The salesman suggested that I let it dry out for a few hours but she still had the same problem. To shorten this long story, she didn't want it and except for the one cartridge that she used, I can't return it and I refuse to throw it away. The cartridges are menthols and it's a complete kit. Email me if anyone's interested in it. I think it's a "smoke everywhere" brand. Like I said, I just refuse to throw it away because I spent about $300 for everything. I did like the fact that there is no smell of smoke or cigarettes, and no ashes or butts. The salesman said that the original idea was to develop a system to assist in quitting, most people buying them are just getting something that allows them to smoke in places where it's no longer allowed. Go figure...

@westell54- my ecig had that problem with the ligiuid building up inside and the ecig not working. I had to unscrew the piece that connects to the battery, then blow through the mouthpiece segment to clear out the liquid. I had to blow from the side that is connected to the battery out through the mouthpiece end. Then I rinsed it out with hot water and let it dry..

I have two products, one is the starter kit from Red Dragon, the other is the Vapor King from Vapor4life (can only be gotten through email at the moment).

These things are both the 2 piece disposable atomizer jammies. I didnt want to mess around with liquids as im kinda clutzy and woulda spilled it everywhere.


The one from Red Dragon looks like a cigarette, white with a brown/orange filter. The one from vapor4life is black with green or white carts.


The Red Dragon is about the size of a 100's cig. The Vapor King is about 15-20% longer than that, so im guessing the battery lasts longer. Today is the first day ive gotten them so kinda hard to tell.

The red dragon kit was twice the price of the vapor king.

My first impression is i wont be using the Red Dragon at all. Even tho it looks more like a cig, the vapor king BLOWS IT AWAY in taste, and throat hit. Weirdly tho, the Red Dragon produces more smoke, but you dont feel anything and the taste is kinda non existent. I couldnt really tell the difference between flavors in the Red Dragons. Not to say you dont taste anything, its just barely noticeable upon exhale.

The Vapor King doesnt produce as much smoke, but the taste and the throat hit are dope on a stick. It really feels like your smokin a cig with this one, you will cough. This right here to me, is the deal breaker for the Red Dragon. I dont care how much smoke there is if i cant feel it.

Also the draw of the Vapor King is much much smoother than the Red Dragon. The VaporKing pulls like a cigarette, the Red Dragon pulls like some noob fucked up a joint n rolled it too tight.

The switch timer on the Red Dragon is about 2-3 seconds before it goes off. Being that you arent feeling the smoke, it felt as if it wasnt long enough.

The switch timer on the Vapor King is like 5-6 seconds. But the throat hit is so nice, you wont be able to pull that long. At least i wasnt and im a pack a day newport smoker.

Like i said before the Red Dragon flavors are suspect. Theres a hint of flavor as you blow out the smoke. I tried to Cherry, Menthol, and regular so far. All of em are ok until i tried the Vapor King flavors.

Vapor King doesnt offer a true Menthol flavor to cure me from the Newports, but the Mint flavor is damn close. The Cola and Cherry are dope as well. Its almost like you are smoking candy.

Both sellers had really good customer service, they both contacted me the day after the order to let me know some flavors were out of stock and worked out over the phone with what they had in stock to fill the order. Shipping times on both were about equal except Vapor4life didnt charge me for shipping, Red Dragon did.

So there it is, my day 1 review of these fuckin things. I still havent had a cig, and i dont really feel the need for one.

Hope this helps some of you not waste money because it seems like more people spend about 400 bucks before the buy something they like.

I know i must be vapin at least 2 packs of cigs a day with the 901.... i luv it, but im starting to think im vapin too much...

Batteries last about 6-8hrs maybe more, i havent had one die on me but i have had it produce less vapor.

The carts last me more than a day, everyone said you can tell when they are done because it stops producing vapor and theres no flavor. I havent had a cart yet stop producing vapor. Im just getting rid of them because i 'think' they should be done.

sorta... i puff on it like 2-4 times, then i do something on the computer, then about 1-2 minutes later, ill take couple more puffs..., then then do something else.. , a couple minutes go by, then puff it a couple more time.... this goes on all day...

my normal doctor dude said that eating 'sharp chedder cheese' or 'pressed meats' can sometimes cause headaches.. I did notice that when we have tacos at home, and I eat the shredded chedder cheese, that I will have a headache for a couple days...

I just opened my 801 and this thing is crazy. I tried to see if the batteries were charged by taking a drag with a cart and it worked. I don't know if this is OK but I have the other battery charging right now.

I put the high cart on with one 24mg drip on the atomizer (not sure if that's OK but we'll see). I think I might need to charge it some more cause I feel like I got to double drag it or take a really long drag. Which makes me feel like I'm smoking a blunt or something.

I might be going about this wrong though so I'll put an empty cart in to see what happens.

Lol. I get asked this prob at least once per week. The answer is always the same...nope! Problem is that while it is legal in california (and the accepted medical conditions to use it are very loosely defined), it is still illegal on a federal level and doctors can be prosecuted under federal jurisdiction for writing scripts. Bottom line is that it took me about 23 years of education and the better part of 3 hundred thousand bucks to get where i am in my career...i'm not about to put that in jeopardy. Besides, if people really want to smoke out they always find a way anyways

I had a 901 and an 801 and both were good. By maintenance I mean things like constant charging, cleaning, refilling...etc. It was simply a case of me being lazy...I know.
