Hi Tjeezy18,
Is this happening with all Whitelabel files or just one in particular? Also are you playing them in Scratch LIVE with the hardware connected?

Hi There.
I too am experiencing this same issue. It is happening in all files i have downloaded. I am playing them without the hardware connected and have not yet tried it connected as of this writing.
Also, I read in the FAQ that if I use an external tag editor, it would mess up the Whitelabel tracks. Is that the case if I use Scratch Live to edit the tags or iTunes? (FYI, I have not edited any tags, just BPM in serato as the BPM were wrong and also the overviews were not built....as was also noted on the FAQ).
Any thoughts Michael R?

Ok. So I just tried this with my 57 connected and the hissing is gone.
So it seems that even though I was previewing tracks in SERATO SCRATCH LIVE with the hardware disconnected, it still recognizes it as a 32Kbps and plays it as such. If you look at your bitrate column, it will show 320 kbps...
...BUT...it is playing it in 32kbps. It will show you that it is if you look above the wave form. It will say "WHITELABEL.NET 32KBPS PREVIEW" in white letters next to Rane Hardware disconnected.
Hope this helps.

Hi dme3o,
Yes any whitelabel files loaded to the offline player will only play at 32kps, hence the "hissing" sound you are getting.
If you edit the tags in Scratch Live you shouldn't have any problems :)

Hi D.A.E.,
Are you playing the files in Scratch Live? If so do you have your Rane hardware connected?

Hi D.A.E,
If you play Whitelabel.net files without your Rane hardware attached they will play as 32KPS mono. If you connect the hardware they will play as 320KPS stereo.
