hi,

I am using an old macbook as a deejay and now I want to move the backup vom itch 2.2.0 to a new macbook (using OS x 10.9, ITCH 2.2.2). I am not able to see any crate structure from the old macbook.

Hi michael,

Moving your entire crate structure and library/database files can be a headache if you do not follow the steps correctly.

Make sure you follow all the steps here > serato.com to migrate your library over to your new computer.

Make sure you follow those steps carefully (Internal to Internal) and you should be able to rebuild your crates and database on your new computer :)

Thanks for the quick answer and the details for the migration. But it does not work. Perhaps due to the fact I have Itch 2.2.0 on my old macbook and the latest version on my new macbook?

In 2.2.0 the ITCH folder is named "ScratchLive" and in the latest version it is called "_Serato_" as shown in the manual. Can I just rename it or copy the old files into the new one?
