I just purchased a DDJ S1 the other day and I am having issues with Serato DJ and Serato Itch absolutely will not install on my Dell Laptop. I have tried to install Itch about 8 times now (all diffferent versions) and it stalls halfway through the installation.

Serato DJ works fine with controller except, when it's plugged in. Then I get no sound. I would rather fix this problem and not worry about Itch at all.

Hi VinteK99,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Can you please go to your Control Panel, click on Sound, and tell me what you see listed as the selected Playback Device? Does it have a green tick next to "Speakers" or your internal soundcard?

It shouldn't be ticked next to the DDJ-S1, if it is, switch it over.

Start up Serato DJ, does it play back audio now?

Are you sure you have the speakers plugged into the back of the DDJ-S1? Audio will not come out of your computer speakers when the DDJ-S1 is plugged in. You will need to connect speakers to the back of the controller.
