Screenflow software will record your serato video mix

So is screenflow still the best software for recording video mixes? I'm about to buy it and I wanted to know how to use it.

I use screenflow with my vestax pbs4 video mixer/ net streamer to record my video serato mix

It record the serato video output window and the audio and the 4 video cameras at the same time ....

I got the software loaded and what do you use to record the audio part of the mix.

Run a cable from the record/booth out on your mixer into the line in on your laptop. Adjust your volume then happy recording.

Can you use serato dj with this and if so how ?

Yes you can run with serato dj......
You need to set up a aggregate audio device in you mac
support.apple.com
So you can run the two sounds at the same time .....
one sound card is the one in your serato midi controller or Rane sl2 hardware.
The other sound card is the one to are recording into

i do mix Videos but i can't record the videos i can only record audio
what can i do to be recording both the video and the audio

Good question. Depending on your setup if you have a mac that has a audio port then you can run a RCA to headphone plug from the mixer/controllers booth or record out into the computer. If your computer is newer and does not have an audio port unfortunately you'll have to buy a usb audio interface to record the audio along with video. For example I have a Mid 2014 Macbook Pro and had to purchase one to record audio. Or you can buy Mix Emergency and record audio without needing any of that. This is the one I use www.pssl.com

and i run Serato DJ latest updated

Are making sure you have the cable plugged to the correct port? You want the audio port not microphone. Also make sure in your sound settings you are recording from "line-input"
