did my crossfader contour change?

hey guys this may be a silly question but i feel like my contour changed on 57.i always mix/blend with the contour right in the 'click" in the middle.but yesterday it seemed as if the slope had changed in it.like when i just pulled over to blend the incoming song was already close to full volume.so the mixes were not as smooth.is it possible for the contour to change somehow?or am i trippin'?

There is a crossfade curve adjustment on the top of the panel where the crossfader resides. It is labeled "Crossfader Countour". Did you try adjusting this?

When the contour is in the middle the crossfader contour is not smooth, infact it's very close to the fast setting.
Sounds like you were tripping but now you've come down and realised the crossfader contour sucks ass.

Oh man, sorry for my weird response. Looks like I overread the part where you explained how you have set the contour fader to the middle.

Not my day I guess.

if ur looking for a smoother contour keep the incoming songs level lower on the upfader...then use the crossfade...bring it to the middle...then adjust the upfader to desired volume...
