Hi all, as some of you may know a couple months back i made ALOT of suggestions in another area of the forum, i know i was heard :)

Here are my latest suggestions

1. Serato DJ should be MIDI mappable with the DDJ-SX, this will enable greater customization and a easier transition from other software for users such as myself a few months back.

2. The LOOP function should be independent from that of the ROLL function so the user can use the ROLL whilst in a LOOP rather than simply changing the LOOP size at a new point or dis-engaging the LOOP once the pad on the ROLL section is released.

3. The GAIN knobs should control the GAIN controls on the SOFTWARE DECK

4. The SMART CRATES should have a RULE for FOLDER PLACEMENT, for example: WITHIN FOLDER NAME: ........

5. Analyzing files should be enabled during LIVE MODE instead of only OFFLINE for new music added during a performance

6. in 1.2 the AUTO GAIN only works once opened and the first track into each deck is loaded, after that the auto either dis-engages or it re-engages randomly at different gain levels throughout a live set

7. Serato DJ should have 3 decimal places on the BPM display

8. when in MULTI-FX mode, each relevant effect should have a DECAY or similar

If Serato could only do one of these, it should be suggestion 1: midi mapping

I have some more suggestions.

1. Serato Video should have the ability to play MP3+CDG files for Karaoke (I hate Karaoke)

2. The size of various panels/components of the main screen in Serato should be able change size and placement using a drag and drop aswell as hold and resize style ability (like you would change the window size and placement of a folder you have open on your computer).

I could be mistaken but it the browser it doesn't seem like you can type a letter and have the highlight bar jump to All or spell out a genre or artist and have it jump there? Could you guys fix this please. SSL fan.

Tab still works to jump between crates, genre, and library. I really need to be able to type in those browser sections as opposed to waste time scrolling like we could do in Scratch live

CPU usage would be too high and create audio drops mid set........

I hate using VDJ when playing karaoke!!!! Serato needs to play CDG files!!!!! Come on I've been using Serato damn near 10 years. Don't make me go to the competitor.

i would like to use the functions of my Z2 mixer with serato DJ. on SL its easy to midi map almost all function even loop roll to loading deck a and b DJ is extremley limiting in midi mapping in comparison
