What additional gear (apart from my Mixtrack Pro II) will I need if I want to control four decks in Serato DJ. Is it possible to control two decks from the controller and two from keyboard/mouse?

Hey Headcleaner,
At this stage you can only use the 4 deck function in the Serato DJ software if you are using a supported controller with 4 deck capabilities even with secondary MIDI controllers or the keyboard/mouse.
In the future we may introduce a feature where the 4 decks can be used even with controllers that usually only have 2 deck capabilities. However it would have a big impact on the way you use your controller as we would have to add another functionality layer to the MIDI mapping of a controller that is already compact. It is a possibility but I wouldn't be able to give you a timeframe on it.
Hope this helps,
Cheers, Sam

Hi again!
I thought a while about this again and wonder if it's not possible to use the MT Pro II as the controller but use an external sound card and in that way control four decks?

Hey Headcleaner,
I'm not sure if that would work.. regardless of you you set it up, if you use the Mixtrack Pro II as the primary controller you will only have 2 deck control unlocked in the software.
If you want 4 decks you may want to consider a different controller?
Cheers, Sam
