I'm going to be setting up Itch on my Mac Pro and wanted to map the library to my RAID instead of using my SSD where I have all my software installed. Would someone please provide me with some instructions on doing this.

Also, i currently have several thousand albums in iTunes the files for them mapped to the RAID. This is where I will be importing music from into Itch. Any information on setting up the crates would also be appreciated.

( I also have everything on a MBP, but that one will stay like it is.)
Thanks

Hey Miami,

Thanks for your post, and thanks for your patience as we have been flat out busy here at Serato HQ.

Im unsure what you mean here, I have some idea, however I need you to explain what you mean by 'map'.

I also can see that you are running a large library - and in some instances there can be a strain on the CPU which could evidently result in a crash. In this instance, below I have attached a article that will help you do this:

Miami,

A RAID arrary, firmware or software controlled, when setup properly, should only be reflected as 1 drive to the software layers above itself. So in Serato library & files browser you should see the RAID array represented by a single drive name/letter. Can you clarify what the exact issue is for Mak & I?
