After I completed the software update to 2.2.2, any music cued on my right turntable plays in reverse. This does not occur on Virtual DJ when I am using my NS7, only when using Itch.

Silly question but did you check that the "bleep/reverse" toggle switch isn't set to "reverse"?

It is the first thing that I check. I even toggled the switches to make sure

Did that as well. Followed it from A to Z and got the final light as prescribed...still no luck. Both platters on the NS7 spin in the right direction but the Serato (computer) platter spins and plays backwards. This is regardless if I put the "bleep/reverse" toggle on reverse or not. I was deployed for a year and it worked well before I left. Returned home and updated the firmware and it just started acting up.

Hmmm, I think I've reached the limits of my expertise and a Serato rep will have to chime in. Sorry for asking such obvious questions... some people post on this forum without ever even having read the users manual but I can tell you know what you're talking about.

Appreciate the assist. I am pretty sure that someone else has experienced the same problem. Then again...I hope not.....dmob

Hey DMOB,
So on screen in Serato DJ the track goes backwards but the platter is moving in the right directions?
If so try hitting Q or A on the keyboard. Reverse and forward command keys.
Regards

Dave,
Buttons "Q" &"A" did not work so I just cycled through all the buttons and guess what.... button "J" sure in the hell did. However, I have to hit the button each time I use the reverse/bleep button. But since I never use them is should not be a problem. Still puzzled why the NS7 platters spin the right direction but the Serato on screen platter spins in the proper direction. Appreciate the assist.

U and J are related to the Censor which is a reverse functionality but only while you are holding the key down. When you let you finger off the key it should go back to normal.
Weird.
Anyway, is it all back to normal?

At first I thought it was my laptop and sticky keys but it does the same thing on my backup laptop. Well....so far so good. Thanks again for the assist. Gonna mark this as fixed for now. ...dmob
