I click on Itch and I just get a black screen with the logo on top and nothing happens. I then press escape to exit out and I get a message that it's not responding.

Hi RodriguezTolentino,
Thanks for get in touch with us. Would you be able to give us your computer specifications?
How to: serato.com
Do you connecting external HDD while open ITCH? Try without it if you use any.
How long you having this issue? Worked fine before?
Kind Regards
Rui

Yes, I was connecting my HDD before opening ITCH. Now, I tried opening ITCH first without connecting the HDD and it works. I then connect the HDD and it's fine. Thanks. The only thing is that now if I analyze a big folder, it'll freeze. I have to analyze smaller folders at a time. My question is this: do you think it'll freeze in the middle of a gig? Could it be the program or the computer?

Hi RodriguezTolentino,
I'm grad to hear your issue is solved. :)
It's very hard for us to tell you about possibility of the crash with or without knowing your computer specs and library details. But I can suggest you to prepare and try to avoid the crash. I would suggest you to re-analyse your library first. If a corrupt file is detected during analysis, your Serato software will tag the track with a corrupt file icon. It is very important that you delete ANY corrupt files from your library as they can cause the software to crash regardless if you play the file or not.
Plus I could say less music files, crates & iTunes library/playlist helps a lot compare to the massive library with music you never use on your set.
Ideally all of the music should be in your internal HDD rather than external HDD to avoid accident like unplug USB cables or if you play with big sound system situations, vibrations from speakers sometime interfere the data transfer.
Let us know about your computer specs and library situations. Maybe we could suggest you something. :)
Kind Regards
Rui
